Miria Systems names Daphne Thomas as Vice President of Operations
MEDIA, PA AND OAKLAND, CA — April 13, 2007 — Miria Systems, a leader in enterprise content management (ECM) and business process management (BPM) solutions, announces the appointment of Daphne Thomas as Vice President of Operations. Ms. Thomas brings over 25 years experience in the software development industry. She has led multiple teams in enterprise software deployment, and has also excelled in the development of implementation methodologies.
Ms. Thomas has successfully rebuilt software organizations and has developed new operations in both the U.S. and abroad. Her in-depth understanding of key success factors as well as processes to break down development tasks and improve efficiency and productivity are an integral part of Miria System’s growth.
During 24 years with Siemens Medical Solutions, she developed her passion for software development and progressed from the role of Software Engineer to become the VP of Enterprise Solutions. She then established a consulting company focused on aiding companies in their product development process, with a special focus on maximizing efficiency and effectiveness with offshoring. Ms. Thomas was born and educated in Dublin, Ireland. She is a Computer Science graduate of Rathmines College, Dublin. She also attended Executive Management Training at Babson College and Duke University.
