Ron Siena, President & CEO


Over the past 15 years, Ron has held various executive positions at Miria Systems and its predecessor companies. He is actively involved in strategic business development—with a particular focus on client and partner relationships, as well as provides project management, domain expertise, solution design and technical guidance to the company’s ECM team . He has over 20 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Business Process Management (BPM) solutions across a variety of markets in both the public and private sectors. Through Ron’s leadership, Miria Systems has established itself as an IBM Business Partner and IBM ValueNet Solutions Provider.

Ron is recognized as IBM FileNet Certified Professional, holds an M.A. in Psychology from the New School for Social Research and a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University. Outside of Miria Systems, Ron also has served as the Treasurer and Executive Member of The Miquon School Board of Directors.


Jeff Rokicki, Chief Financial Officer

Jeff has 20 years of financial accounting and reporting experience and has held a variety of senior-level finance positions. Prior to Miria Systems, he served as Controller, Treasurer, and Secretary at Protez Pharmaceuticals. Jeff has also worked at Vela Pharmaceuticals and Taratec Development Corporation. He started his career in accounting at KPMG, where he worked as a supervising senior accountant. He holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Rutgers University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.).


George Thomas, Vice President of Sales

George has over 18 years of enterprise consulting and software sales experience in markets across North America. He joined Miria Systems in 2001 and has been instrumental in bringing some of the largest customers to the portfolio. As Vice President of Sales, George is responsible for all customer-facing functions, including business development and sales operations required for revenue growth and market positioning.

George holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Computer Science from Clarion University. Prior to joining Miria, he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for a consulting company based in Pittsburgh, PA and as a Business Partner with a start-up organization based in Carlisle, Massachusetts. He is a frequent speaker and presenter at trade shows and online marketing events.


Keith Guzma, Energy Solutions

Keith has over 30 years of experience in Business Process Improvement initiatives within the electric utility industry, including nuclear and fossil generation, where he held various business and technical roles. As a Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst, focused on EAM and ERP solutions, Keith has implemented projects in the areas of: Work Management, Engineering Change Control, Document Management, Radiation Protection, Clearance and Tagging, Personnel Data, Training and Qualifications, Action Tracking, Corrective Action, Pension Systems, and Accounts Payable. His technical expertise includes: IBM FileNet, IBM Maximo, Sword Fusion/Cimage, Ventyx Asset Suite/PassPort, SAP, and PIMS.


Lawrence Henry, Accounts Payable Solution

Lawrence holds accounting designations in the UK (CIPFA) and Canada (CMA) and has front line experience as a Finance Manager in Shared Service Centers for a large multi-national company on both sides of the Atlantic. In that role, he had direct responsibility for the delivery of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Travel & Expenses functions. Prior to that, his career revolved around the implementation of Finance ERP systems, laterally as a management consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Lawrence’s first exposure to Miria was as a client after selecting and implementing Managed$Pay, Miria’s Receipt to Pay Application, to improve the efficiency of Accounts Payable processing within a Shared Service Center. He subsequently joined the Miria team and for the last 5 years has provided leadership on Miria’s large scale Managed$Pay implementations. Lawrence provides Accounts Payable domain expertise to Miria’s customers and is responsible for the Managed$Pay roadmap and evolving Managed$Pay as a forms-based workflow application for many business processes beyond invoice processing.

Lawrence holds degrees from St Andrews University, Scotland; the Institute of Public Finance & Accounting and the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario, Canada

Bruce Luehrs, Chairman of the Board
Partner, Emerald Stage2 Ventures

Prior to Emerald Stage2, Bruce was a General Partner of the Edison Venture Fund and has been a banker, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist for the past 25 years. He is well known in the Philadelphia region, having served as Chairman of the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group (now MAC Alliance) and on the Mid-Atlantic Venture Conference Steering Committee and Association for Corporate Growth. Bruce has championed numerous investments in the region including Gain Capital, Virtual Edge (sold to ADP), Fiberlink, Innaphase (sold to Thermo Electron), Octagon Research Solutions, and Cadient. His previous experience includes Columbia Capital, PNC Equity Management, Fidelcor Capital, Continental Illinois National Bank (Chicago), and Fidelity Bank (Philadelphia).

Bruce was commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force in 1975. He received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University following graduation from Duke University with a B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude.


Jim Walker, CEO & Chairman, Octagon Research Solutions, Inc.

Jim is founder of Octagon Research Solutions, Inc. and has 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to founding Octagon, he worked as the Senior Manager of Worldwide Regulatory Affairs for the Schering-Plough Corporation. Prior to Schering, he worked across multiple therapeutic areas in the Regulatory Affairs/Clinical and Clinical Quality Assurance department at the R.W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute. Jim has extensive experience in all phases of clinical research, process improvement and providing insight across multiple disciplines within drug development.

Mr. Walker holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Villanova University, a Masters in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers University, and an M.B.A. from Duke University.
