Miria Systems Acquires Cloud Computing Firm; Calls It “Key Step” In Bringing Together the Interconnected Technology World of the 21st Century
APRIL 4, 2012 – Miria Systems, Inc. (www.miriasystems.com), Norristown, PA-based provider of content-centric Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, has acquired Cloud95, LLC, a Cloud Computing technology and consulting firm, it was announced today by Miria Systems Board Chairman Bruce Luehrs.
At the same time, Luehrs announced that Cloud95 Founder and President Marty Michael will join Miria Systems as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Cloud Strategist. Ron Siena continues as President of the company, with the added responsibility as Chief Strategy Officer, IBM Solutions.
“The acquisition of Cloud95, combined with the addition of Michael and the increased emphasis on our strong partnerships with IBM Corporation – as an IBM Premier Business Partner, Solutions Provider, and Support Partner,” Luehrs said, “will help us consolidate Miria Systems’ strengths as we extend our capabilities into the emerging Enterprise-Engineering Collaborative world of the 21st century.

In this regard, we see Miria Systems as being a ‘thought leader’ in Cloud Computing.”
“Ron Siena, as President and Chief Strategy Officer, IBM Solutions,” Luehrs said, “will stay actively involved in strategic business development—with a particular focus on client and partner relationships – as well as providing project management, domain expertise, solution design and technical guidance to the company’s ECM team. He has over 20 years experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Enterprise Content Management and Business Process Management solutions across a variety of markets in both the public and private sectors. It was through Ron’s leadership,” Luehrs emphasized, “that Miria Systems established itself as an IBM Premier Business Partner and IBM Solutions Provider.”
